Comfortable clothing and shoes
are essential, as you'll likely be doing a lot of walking in Cartagena and its
historic streets.
Don't forget sunscreen,
sunglasses, and a hat, as the weather is usually warm and sunny near the
Caribbean Sea.
We recommend staying at least
two or three days to fully enjoy the beaches, the historic center, and the
local culture.
Finally, we recommend using taxis or public transportation to get around the city safely and comfortably, especially if you want to visit the beaches or other attractions.
